Phil Foil, Lady Barons Varsity Coach

Phil Foil has been in the Barons organization for over five years. As a Christ follower, he believes that glory must be given to God. God is the giver of life and He gifts us all with talents that make us a unique part of the Body of Christ.

As the Barons Varsity Girls basketball coach, he focuses on the spiritual, mental, and physical aspects of the game. Particular emphasis is on playing to the potential with which God has blessed each athlete. Despite the strengths and weaknesses of each player and the team as a whole, the goal is to play hard - never to be outworked by the other team.

Whether a player goes on to play basketball for their college, in an intramural league, or in a recreational league, the game teaches us much about preparation, performance, attitude, overcoming success and failure, and life in general.
